WWE SmackDown Spoilers 24/1/12 - Randy Orton Gets Revenge on Wade Barrett

Here are spoilers from last night's WWE SmackDown tapings from Tuscon, Arizona. The show will air on Friday night. Dark Match: * Ryback Skip Sheffield defeated three local wrestlers in a handicap match. SmackDown Results; The Big Show opens the show talking about how he has been unhappy since he injured AJ Lee and has considered retiring. World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan comes out and cuts promo on Show. He ends up slapping Show and telling him that he should leave. Show got angry and corners him into the turnbuckle and gets in his face. Mark Henry then comes out and taunts both of them about the cage match at Sunday's Royal Rumble. Randy Orton's return is hyped with a video package. 1) Cody Rhodes def. Justin Gabriel with the Cross Rhodes. Teddy Long is backstage and is talking to his assistant Santino Marella. Santino suggests a new tag team he could create with Yoshi Tatsu called 'Santoshi'. Teddy agrees. Drew McIntyre then comes in and Long say he's just about done with him. He makes McIntyre vs Sheamus and it's up next. 2) Sheamus def. Drew McIntyre. Reports are that they have buried so much in recent weeks and bullied him that Drew is starting to get babyface pop reactions. Drew actually controlled most of the match but Sheamus won with the Brogue kick. They should probably consider having Drew last a long time in the Royal Rumble and attempt to turn him face because the fans seem to be going for it. 3) WWE Tag Team Champions Primo & Epico def. 'Santoshi' (Santino Marella and Yoshi Tatsu) in a non-title match. Backstage segment with Daniel Bryan and Mark Henry. Bryan says he has so much respect for Henry and knows he can beat him tonight. Bryan says go teach him a lesson. Wade Barrett comes out to the ring and talks about Randy Orton making his comeback. Orton comes out and gets a massive ovation from the crowd. He beats Barrett up and officials come down to try and break up the fight but struggle. Then wrestlers down to break it up but Barrett runs off. In the end Orton RKO's everyone including Tyler Reks, Curt Hawkins, Trent Baretta and an Uso. 4) Hunico def. Ted DiBiase. Post-match, Hunico & Camacho beat down on DiBiase and work on his injured wrist. Is that DiBiase out of the rumble? 5) Brodus Clay def. Alex Riley (remember him?). Clay was said to be really over and put in a good performance. Riley tried to win a dance off before the match. 6) Aksana def. Natalya in a short match via the roll-up. Post-match, Natalya attacked Aksana and put her in the Sharpshooter. Tamina ran down to make the save and performed a Samoan Drop and Superfly Splash on Natalya. 7) Big Show def. Mark Henry by count out. Daniel Bryan was watching at right ringside and when he got involved in the match, Henry stayed on the outside to take the count out defeat. Bryan attacked Big Show with a chair and he locked in the LBaell Lock in on Show, who then broke free and chokeslammed him and hit the WMD punch.
