WWE SmackDown Spoilers For January 28th

Full results for this Thursday's show on the USA Network.

WWE taped Thursday's edition of WWE SmackDown on Tuesday evening in Tampa, FL. The show took place at the Amalie Arena, home to the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning. Following an episode RAW that saw the main event for WWE Fast Lane announced, as well as a surprise return appearance from The Rock, what does WWE have in store for us this Thursday evening on the USA Network? Below are the full spoilers for Thursday's broadcast. The New Day opened the show with a promo segment to respond to what happened between them and The Rock Monday during RAW. They pointed out they have championship belts currently, unlike Rock. They talked about Rock's promo on Monday not being "PG" and disagreed that their unicorn hats look like lama genitalia. The Miz came out to agree with The New Day, accusing The Usos are riding their relative's (Rock) coattails. This brought out The Usos who said they came out for a fight. Dolph Ziggler and Titus O'Neil came with them for back-up and the four babyfaces cleared the ring. The opening segment set up an eight man tag team match, which was won by The Usos, Ziggler, and O'Neil. U.S. Champion Kalisto successfully defended his title against Neville. Chris Jericho held a Highlight Reel segment with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. They were interrupted by The Wyatt Family, and this set-up the show's main event. AJ Styles defeated Curtis Axel, using tahe Styles Clash for the very first time in WWE to get the victory. No idea why they held him off from using it at Royal Rumble and RAW, then had the move debut on a show that is watched by far less people. So much for saving it for a special situation. Charlotte defeated Natalya. Following the bout, Charlotte continued to decimate Natalya until Becky Lynch ran-out to make the save. A backstage segment aired where Sasha Banks told Tamina and Naomi that she is leaving Team BAD. Finally. Another backstage segment featuring R-Truth/Goldust aired. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Chris Jericho defeated Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, and Luke Harper by DQ in the main event. The finish came when Braun Strowman ran in and started to beatdown the opposing team, resulting in the DQ. The Big Show ran out to try to help, but he was also beaten down by The Wyatts to close the show.
