Standing out has never been so difficult on WWE's overstuffed roster, but it sounds like former NXT Champion Andrade 'Cien' Almas has made a strong impression on Vince McMahon.

Per PWInsider, the SmackDown star's recent match with AJ Styles caught the eye of several senior management members, including the Chairman himself, who was reportedly so impressed with 'El Idolo' that he's now considering him for a major push.

Almas' manager, Zelina Vega, has caught the boss' attention as well, with her confidence in the microphone making a particularly strong impression. Given her transformative impact on the former La Sombra's WWE career as a whole, this bodes extremely well for both of them.

A strong push would represent a significant turnaround for Almas. He wrestled just twice in his first 12 weeks as a main roster member, but is now finding his groove on SmackDown. 'Cien' lost to Styles, but it was an exciting match, and he followed it up with a victory over Rusev on this week's show.

Though currently without an obvious SummerSlam programme, Almas and Vega are finally making moves, and if they are to be pushed, fans can expect their charge to continue.
