WWE's stock price is showing that the business is having some success right now. While Raw ratings are disappointing, the stock reflects an optimism about the long term prospects of the business. There's a long term trend of the company increasing value. Yahoo Finance shows how the stock has increased - October 21, 2011 = $10.62 October 21, 2014 = $13.82 October 21, 2015 = $18.95 That's a 78% increase from this time period in 2011, and a 37% increase from this time period last year. While fans may think the business is in crisis because Raw isn't as hot, these numbers suggest that those "in the know" in the business world are confident of long term success. It should also be noted that WWE's YouTube channel was once again the most viewed YouTube channel in the world in September. That's two months in a row now. Far from WWE dipping in popularity, there's an argument that more people than ever are being exposed to the product one way or another. Another point about WWE's stock rise is linked to how many foreign markets the company has opened up. Ten years ago, it was very much angled towards the USA and Europe. It was also an edgier product, meaning many countries wouldn't air it. Nowadays the show is sold to more international territories, including important markets in Asia and the middle east. Don't write Vince McMahon off just yet!
