WWE Teases Batista Return Soon

The current issue of WWE magazine predicts that "it's simply a matter of time before The Animal rises again."

"Although he left the company in 2010, many see the departure as a temporary one, and it's simply a matter of time before The Animal rises again."
Dave Batista, a former two time WWE Champion and four time WWE World Heavyweight Champion left the organisation in May 2010 when he grew critical of the direction the WWE were going in though it may be more truthful he wanted to follow Brock Lesnar's footsteps into Mixed Martial Arts. Just one month later he attended Strikeforce: Los Angeles and announced that he wanted to embark on an MMA career but a contract deal could never be agreed and it never happened. He has since embarked on a movie career and appears this year in the films The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption (straight to video sequel), The Man With The Iron Fists (a high profile film from rapper RZA and written by Eli Roth that stars Russell Crowe) and a part in the developing The Chronicles of Riddick sequel. Recently Batista struck a deal with the WWE to be included in the WWE 12 video game, opening up speculation that a return deal could be in the offing sometime this year.
