WWE: The Undertaker Is Backstage Now At Old School RAW

the undertaker The Undertaker is backstage at Monday Night RAW in Buffalo, New York and will be appearing tonight in some fashion to set up a Wrestlemania bout against CM Punk according to a spoiler released by Mike Johnson on his PWInsider website just now. Tonight's episode of RAW will have an Old School theme with classic intro, music, set design and ring (with red, white and blue ropes) and will feature several former talents including Haxsaw Jim Duggan, Mene Gene Okerland, Triple H and The New Age Outlaws. Despite the fun theme to the event top story lines will continue to be built as Wrestlemania 29 gets ever closer. After his promo last week in which he described himself as "an icon" and a "God" it was believed the seeds had finally been sewn for The Undertaker's return and if PWInsider is correct then it looks like tonight is the night at last. What better show for the Dead Man to make his long awaited return after a year's absence than at an Old School RAW featuring gimmicks from the past. What Old School gimmick has been more successful or more enduring than that of The Undertaker? Making his debut at the 1990 Survivor Series The Undertaker - real name Mark Callaway - is the longest serving active wrestler in the roster. Appearing at 20 Wrestlemania PPVs since his debut, The Undertaker has amassed an undefeated streak that is unlikely to ever be bettered. After defeating such names as Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair in previous years it is widely believed (and almost certain) that he will put The Streak on the line this coming April against The Best in the World CM Punk. After weeks of speculation it appears the most anticipated match on the 'Mania card will finally kick into gear tonight. Check back here for full RAW results shortly.
