The WWE Title match for the company's latest excursion to the Arabian Gulf was set at Super Show-Down this evening after a bloody bizarre match between Daniel Bryan and The Miz.

The big rematch between the pair ended abruptly after Bryan caught Miz off-guard with a cradle for a victory which left the supposed 70,000 in attendance at the Melbourne Cricket Ground stunned. In total, the bout lasted less than two and a half minutes.

As per the pre-match stipulation, winner Bryan now receives a shot at AJ Style's WWE Title, confirmed by an on-screen graphic for the Crown Jewel show scheduled for Riyadh's King Fahd Stadium on 2 November.

A match between Bryan and Styles has been something of a fantasy for wrestling fans for some time now, one which never seemed likely to come true. That it is - and in the Saudi Arabian desert no less - is scarcely believable.

Thanks to the plainly weird finish between Bryan and The Miz, WWE somehow contrived to make this huge occurrence play out before silence. Bryan entered the contest with taped ribs; could he have been carrying a legitimate injury heading into the show?
