WWE To Release Sting DVD

Sting Wwe The WWE debut of Sting is imminent. A new report from WrestlingDVDNews.com reports that UK retail site Zavvi has listed a WWE produced Sting DVD & Blu-Ray release that is listed with a September pre-order. Sting recently appeared in a documentary about the Ultimate Warrior with new commentary from him, which confirmed that he has signed a deal with WWE. There were plans for WWE to release a Sting DVD back in 2008, but that didn't happen likely because he wasn't a part of the company at that point. Now that he's in WWE, it makes a lot of sense that they would release a DVD about his career. Considering how awesome most WWE documentary DVD releases are, it makes a lot of sense that they would produce one for Sting. Since WWE owns the NWA/WCW tape library, they will be able to put together a very comprehensive listing of the greatest moments of his career. Most WWE documentary features on new DVD releases can run anywhere from 90 minutes to two hours, so when you consider Sting's had a legendary career the chances are great that WWE will deliver another awesome one for him. They can get commentary from some big names from his past like Ric Flair, Mick Foley, Hulk Hogan, possibly Lex Luger and many others. While there is still no indication of when Sting might appear in front of a live WWE crowd, there's a chance that it could be in the summer because if they're doing pre-orders in September that would make the release soon after that and it would make sense to have him on television before they promote a new DVD for him. The report also notes that there's a "Brothers of Destruction" DVD in the works that would chronicle the relationship between on screen WWE brothers The Undertaker and Kane. Since they've had an interesting history as both allies and foes since Kane's 1997 debut, there's a lot of material that they can cover.
