WWE Transformed Image Teases Wacky New Character!

UPDATED: He walks in darkness…

Updated: Well, that was disappointing. WWE.com have revealed that the #WWETransformed hype was actually for artist Paul Ainsworth's re-imaginings of famous WWE characters. The image shown was indeed Kane and he was wearing a skewed version of The Undertaker's attire. You can see the image here...
In a way, Ainsworth must be pissed. His images could never live up to the fan hope that an wacky new character was about to debut! Original article follows... WWE have posted another "#WWETransformed" Twitter post, all but confirming that the mysterious hype campaign is for the debut of a new superstar.
The image (above) appears to be preparing us for a new character debut. Shown from what looks like to be behind the character, the man photographed sports original Kane style long hair, Legion of Doom spikes and a rather nifty looking leather jacket! It totally looks something like wrestling circa 1997 but colour us totally intrigued. The image was posted with the following message; "He walks in darkness€ #WWETransformed" Who walks in the darkness? Which new character could we about to see debut on the main roster? Twitter speculation among fans is everything from the rebirth of The Undertaker to a completely radical new look for Sting to a current WWE superstar such as Tyson Kidd or Heath Slater repackaged. Whatever it is, the #WWETransformed campaign has kicked up to a higher level now that that we know almost for sure it's the debut of a new character and not just the long spoken about new WWE logo. WWE fans... who from the current roster would you like to see #WWETransformed?
