F4WOnline reports that Vince McMahon will return to WWE television in April following Wrestlemania 30.

This is the latest development in the long running (and ultimately false) reports of Vince coming back leading into Wrestlemania 30. It had long been rumoured that Vince would return to manage a wrestler against ‘The Authority’ heading into the New Orleans show, and in theory that could still happen, but it now looks as if the return will be after Wrestlemania has concluded. Perhaps he will return to relieve ‘The Authority’ of their duties after Daniel Bryan overcomes Triple H at Mania.

It’s worth mentioning that Stephanie McMahon is once again being refereed to as a “Principal owner of WWE” during Raw, which is the kind of terminology that was meant to lead toward Mr. McMahon’s original return. So it looks as if the boss really will be back very soon, and it could even be before Mania, WWE proved their adeptness at mis-information to dirtsheets during Chicago’s Raw – maybe this latest story of Vince back in a month is to throw fans off him coming back in the next week or two.

When Mr. McMahon does return to WWE television it usually corresponds with a ratings increase. His character is a big draw. Numbers should hopefully be high anyway around Wrestlemania 30, but Vince will give the product a boost.
