WWE: When Will Bray Wyatt Turn Face?

Bray Wyatt continues to earn the respect of the WWE Universe during his feud with John Cena. Not only has he looked dominant at times like he did on Monday's edition of Raw, but the fans have really enjoyed singing "he's got the whole world in his hands" with him. It has led to some fans thinking that perhaps Wyatt could be a babyface in the near future. A new report from F4WOnline.com suggests that while Wyatt could turn face down the road, it won't be immediately. Wyatt likely won't turn face until The Shield makes their heel turn. The thinking behind that is they would want to keep the two groups on opposite sides. The exception to the Shield's heel turn would be Roman Reigns, who would remain in a babyface role and receive a huge push over the course of the next year. There's no firm date on when Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will go back to their heel ways to oppose Reigns, but it could be as soon as Extreme Rules. Perhaps they turn on their friend to join up with Evolution? It could be around Money in the Bank where they could cost Reigns the win. There are a lot of different scenarios that could be in play. As for Wyatt, he has the kind of character that would be better as a heel for years. It's understandable that WWE would think about turning him face due to the crowds cheering for him at times, but once he becomes a face a lot of the things that make him great will be gone. He won't be as creepy if he's a face. He won't be different from others because they'll have him do promos pandering to the fans. We don't want that. We want Wyatt to be different from everybody else. That's why the gimmick works so well. In the wrestling business, anybody that's a face can go heel and any heel can go face. We know that. In the case of Wyatt, it would be in WWE's best interests to keep him heel. That's the role he'll be able to thrive in and become a bigger star over the long term. They shouldn't even consider a face turn. For now, Wyatt will continue his feud with Cena. It will be very interesting to see how they book the Cage Match at Extreme Rules to see if Wyatt can win the biggest match of his career so far.
