WWE's Bayley and AEW's Aaron Solow have called off their engagement, according to a Twitter statement made by the latter.

The wrestlers, who met whilst training, would find themselves engaged in 2016. However, it appears that the two were on different paths which ultimately led to the stars opting to go their separate ways, whilst still retaining the memories they created together.

Solow's statement on the social media platform reads as follows:

"This has been an extremely difficult decision to make.
Pam and I have come to the realization that we have a completely different idea of what we want our future to look like, because of this we feel that it would be in our best interests to call off our engagement and end our relationship.
We have a lot of great memories together that we’ll forever cherish. We’ve agreed to remain friends and will continue to support each other in our careers and lives.
We ask that you please respect our privacy on this matter."

Since getting engaged in 2016, Bayley has gone on to become one of WWE's prominent stars, holding the NXT, Raw, SmackDown Women's singles titles, and Women's Tag Team Championships over the last five years. Notably, Solo recently joined the Nightmare Family in AEW, joining the likes of Dustin, Cody and Brandi Rhodes in the unit.
