In a move that is almost certainly for the best given his previous online activity, WWE's Lars Sullivan has deleted his Twitter account.

Reddit user HelluvaHunter was the first to bring this story to wider attention, and while clicking on @larsswwe used to take you to 'The Freak's' profile, it now goes to Twitter's standard "this account doesn't exist" page.

Sullivan's online footprint has made him a controversial figure over the past few months. First unearthed in late 2018, a series of problematic forum posts made prior to his WWE signing were brought back into the public eye in May, accompanied by reports that his employers would sit tight and wait for the situation to blow over.

But "blow over" it did not, and Sullivan eventually released a public apology on the matter, before WWE opted to fine him $100,000 and order sensitivity training. Now, it looks like Lars has chosen to wipe his social media presence out entirely.

This is probably a wise choice. While Sullivan's Twitter account was apparently run by someone else (per his old bio), a misguided tweet on "easily offended snowflakes" was his first response to the recent controversies.
