Welcome back, Mustafa.

It looks like WWE's Mustafa Ali just got his old first name back.

With thanks to Reddit user u/dogryan100 on r/SquaredCircle, WWE.com have now added "Mustafa" back to Ali's ring name, reversing the move that the company made back in March.

The former 205 Live standout is yet to make reference to this on social media.

Ali joined WWE's main roster from the Cruiserweight show in December 2018. Booked alongside the likes of Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles, it looked like he was heading for a big push and he was initially set to compete in February's Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship, though injury meant he had to be replaced by the surging Kofi Kingston.

KofiMania ensued, and while there's no indication that Ali would've enjoyed a similar push to the New Day man, he fell down the ladder. Still, he challenged for the WWE Championship in a Triple Threat with Kevin Owens and Bryan at Fastlane in March.

Ali has since slotted into a midcard role on SmackDown. He lost to Randy Orton in a singles match at Hell In A Cell last month, and there's no word on whether or not he'll be part of the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view.
