WWE's Seth Rollins Reveals When Relationship With Becky Lynch Began

'Beastslayer' and Becky thought "maybe they shouldn't do this" at first.

Seth Rollins was the subject of yet another WWE 365 documentary this past weekend, during which he delved into all the grisly details of what has been a rather eventful year, to say the least.

Despite winning the Universal Championship on two occasions - at WrestleMania and SummerSlam, no less - The Architect has had a difficult twelve months. Rollins couldn't stem the ratings slump as the man on top, and as the pressure clearly began to get to him, rapidly began to melt down on social media. He ends 2019 realigned as a heel, having dropped the red strap to Bray Wyatt in Saudi Arabia.

So it's been a bit of a professional rollercoaster, but things have been much happier in Rollins' personal life. Earlier this year, it emerged Seth was in a relationship with WWE's most popular star, Becky Lynch, and the pair got engaged back in August.

Rollins spoke about his love life on WWE's latest doc, during which he revealed the pair first linked up romantically towards the end of January, during which he was undergoing a period of personal introspection.

"The first time we kissed was Royal Rumble weekend," Seth dropped. "That was interesting, because I've known her for such a long time, never really thought about the other one in that way. So even when we started hanging out as more than just friends, it felt really nice, but was also like, 'ah, maybe we shouldn't do this.'"

Rollins went on to say that soon, love was inevitable - and that's when his life began to turn around.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
