5. The Cave Scene - Avengers: Age Of Ultron

When the human race is nothing but a distant memory, and alien visitors come to our planet to excavate our ruins and study our culture, they too will be baffled by one recurring mystery. Namely, what the hell is that bloody cave scene in Age Of Ultron supposed to be?

Apparently, it all made sense in the original cut, but as presented in the movie it’s whirlwind of confusion. Thor goes to a cave with Selvig for some reason, he gets into a pool for some reason and has a weird vision of Asgard; again, for some reason He comes back and shoots some lightening to help create The Vision, and the whole purpose of his cave visit is never explained.

It’s a weird scene with no real place in the movie, and if the original cut didn’t work it should have been taken out altogether.
