Terminator has plans to become a very active franchise once again, with two more films scheduled after this one. While it seems that there is a definitive end, the post-credits scene leaves the door open for more.
So, it Genisys the cap on a legendary franchise or the start of something totally new? And what complications does that raise?
As discussed earlier, is there a way John Connor can return in the current timeline? Will Arnie be back yet again? Are we really going to have another film of Emilia Clarke and Jai Courtney showing absolutely no chemistry. Its not a question the film can definitively answer, even if it gives us a clue, because like so much in Hollywood its all going to depend on one thing: money.
