The continued stalling over a new deal by Bacary Sagna could also lead to a bid for Barcelonas contract rebel Martin Montoya. Like Sagna, Montoya too faces an uncertain future at the Nou Camp. With less than a year remaining on his contract, the defender is refusing to pen a renewal. That has led to Arsene Wenger believing the Barca man could arrive at the Emirates on the cheap, for as little as £3 million. That would be a huge coup for the Gunners considering Montoyas pedigree, having helped the Catalans win two La Liga titles since breaking into the first team in 2011. The 22-year-old is a product of Barcas youth academy and has been with them since 1999, but looks as though hes set for a change of scenery. Montoya would battle with Carl Jenkinson for the right-back slot, giving Wenger strength in depth on the right flank.
