It appears that Newcastle are considering making a move for French attacking midfielder Remy Cabella, the Telegraph claims that this is raising doubts over the future of Hatem Ben Arfa at the club. Cebella is certainly a very talented player, but the report suggests that he would cost as much as £14 million to secure and it will be interesting to see if the board will sanction such a deal this month. The player is currently at Montpellier, who are sitting 17th in Ligue 1, just three points clear of the relegation zone. However, despite his club struggling the player himself has excelled this season with an average rating of 7.29; he has also contributed six goals and three assists. The fact that Cabella is just 23, and has the versatility to play in a number of different attacking positions certainly makes him a very attractive proposition. He certainly has a number of very powerful weapons that you would think would make him a real Premier League star. The attacking stats suggests this with 2.4 shots, 2.3 key passes and 1.3 dribbles per match.
