Wade Barrett recently ripped the p*ss out of his own faction on socials by taking a lighthearted jab at The Corre. Let's just say that old 'Bad News' much preferred his time in Nexus than as leader of the dodgy offshoot. Do you remember The Corre's temporary main rivals: A.P.P.L.E? Don't worry, nobody else does.

Santino Marella proudly announced on an episode of Raw in April 2011 that he'd brought together Mark Henry, Daniel Bryan and Evan Bourne as A.P.P.L.E. That stood for, "Allied People Powered (by) Loathing Everything (that you stand for)". Rolls of the tongue brilliantly, eh?

This was a weak counterpoint to The Corre. A.P.P.L.E Corre - get it? Apparently, that joke was deemed funny enough to make the flagship in 2011. There's no way those painted on smiles from Bryan, Bourne and Henry were legit. Mercifully, A.P.P.L.E only lasted one day. The group had a name though, at least.
