10 Wrestlers Who Should Switch Companies
10. Bayley (WWE to AEW)
In a recent interview, Bayley spoke about how she has never been the type of person to barge down the office doors when they feel aggrieved about not being used on TV . Perhaps, she figured, this was the reason why she is sometimes overlooked. She then went on to allude to the biggest example of her being put to one side that was upcoming but didn't mention what it was. We later came to learn that this was the fact she was bumped off the card for WrestleMania 41 in favour of a returning Becky Lynch. It seems that nice girls do sometimes finish last.
The most frustrating thing about this from a fan point of view is that Bayley has been putting out some of her best work in the last five years. Her heel turn and subsequent pairing with real life friend Sasha Banks in the COVID years of WWE was brilliant. The storyline of losing her power over Damage CTRL in the run up to WrestleMania 40 was also wonderfully paced. Even after all of this there's a feeling that nobody in WWE sees her as a main event player anymore.
It would be best therefore if Tony Khan would have a word in her ear and bring her down to Jacksonville. Bayley still has plenty to offer in ring and reuniting with Mercedes Mone on an episode of Dynamite would truly get fans talking. Much like The Hurt Syndicate there would be plenty of distance left in AEW taking over an idea that WWE dropped the ball with.
