10 Wrestling Jobbers So BIZARRE They Feel Made Up

5. Corey Student

That what Corey Student easily could've been. He was a pebble's throw away from being "The Trainer" in WWF War Zone on PS1. That's how generic Student was. For clarity, Corey has also been known as Cory Student. Who knows why the federation added that 'e' into his name when he worked a few bouts on television in the early-to-mid-90s?

Between 1993-1995, Corey/Cory worked 21 matches for the market leading promotion. Obviously, he didn't win any of them. Pushing Student to the moon wasn't ever something Vince McMahon wanted to do. Hmm, he missed out on an easy 'Teacher & Student' idea when Shane Douglas became Dean in '95. Just saying.

The most bizarre thing about Corey Student is that he's almost too boring for reality. Like, seriously. Most know that enhancement workers (by their very nature) are supposed to be lame, but Student took things further than that. He was, by quite some margin, one of the most snoozeworthy jobbers in living memory.

He tried his best to take a good kicking from Yokozuna, Doink The Clown, Razor Ramon and others, but those stars presumably had to bring a pillow to the ring with them when matching up against Corey. He was so dull that he made Lance Storm's deliberately boring character from 2003 seem like 2016 Will Ospreay between the ropes.

In hindsight, it might've been funnier had he been called "Dave Trainee". Or, maybe "Grade A Student" would've given him something/anything to work with on TV. Meh, he wasn't there long to be fair.
