3. Hulk Hogan (A Lot!)

How They Entered The Wilderness:

You could fill a list on its own with the amount of controversial exits Hulk Hogan has had from WWE.

So, let's focus on his most recent banishment.

When news broke out of a leaked sex tape - highlighting racist slurs made by Hogan - WWE decided to distance themselves from the Hulkster. They released a statement on how they were 'committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds'.

Message loud and clear: WWE were rightly condemning Hogan for his comments. Hogan was struck from the record and no mention of the man was heard, throughout the company, for years.

It was as if Hulkamania never even happened.

How They Came Out:

Reinstated into the Hall of Fame after a three year absence in July 2018, Hogan found himself back in the company's good books at Extreme Rules, where he appeared backstage at the event. Hogan apologized for his actions to the locker room and by the time we hit November, Hulkamania was running wild over Saudi Arabia at Crown Jewel.

Though time hasn't healed all of the Hogan inflicted wounds - many of the current roster still haven't quite forgiven the man for his horrid outburst - he has appeared frequently on WWE programming in mega shows such as Raw Reunion, WrestleMania and the Saudi events.

The boss knows there is money to be made in the 66 year old and won't let a couple of years of bad publicity get in the way of that.
