25 Worst Wrestling Moments Of 2020

24. AEW’s ‘Tooth & Nail’ Clanger

Watching 'Tooth & Nail' was almost as much fun as going to the dentist for real. In other words, it wasn't fun at all. Hell, most would've gleaned more enjoyment out of reading outdated issues of National Geographic in the waiting room than seeing Britt Baker and Big Swole struggle their way through one of wrestling's worst cinematic brawls.

All Out 2020 is generally considered to be one of AEW's worst pay-per-views to date. This stinker somehow opened the main card (what a dumb decision that was), and nobody was really impressed. The announcers tried to sell Swole and Baker scrapping through Britt's dental office as must see and dangerous, but it was actually pretty boring.

Ironically, Swole causing Baker to pass out due to laughing gas for the crummy finish had no-one giggling. It was simply the latest terrible moment in a stunt show packed with them, and it'd go down in history as perhaps the worst AEW match in history. That's covering a lot of ground considering some of the sideshow guff littering episodes of Rampage and Collision over the years.

Swole would go on to fall out with boss Tony Khan and leave the company. Meanwhile, Britt did become one of the top female stars before everything fell apart for her too. If this 'Tooth & Nail' business was supposed to be a huge leap forward for AEW's women's division, then it failed miserably.

Revisit it only if you fancy cringing your way through a cinematic disaster that couldn't match up to the best from 'Boneyard', 'Firefly Fun House' etc.
