Charlotte Flair has done great work since turning babyface last year.

That tag-team with Alexa Bliss worked wonders, but she’s legitimately getting strong face reactions on her own now. Putting Flair over Jade Cargill, Lyra Valkyria and Sol Ruca was the right call on SmackDown - Charlotte vs. Liv Morgan is a top semi final for Queen Of The Ring. However, it still remains to be seen if WWE can heat things up enough for significant interest in Flair vs. Cargill at SummerSlam if that’s the plan.

Here, there was an embarrassing malfunction with Jade’s hair coming loose during a double superplex spot, which meant she was preoccupied with that for the rest of the bout. Thankfully, that didn't derail the whole affair or anything. Yes, these Fatal-4-Ways are played out for sure, but this one had multiple possibilities in terms of a winner and was a fun watch despite some messy moments earlier on. It had the men's match later on licked, to be fair.

Sol was more of a bit part player, but that’s fine because she’s settling in over on Raw with the Women’s IC belt and got some cool spots in. Same story with Lyra, who was always going to be the fall guy. Back on a more positive side, both showed spirit in the opener, and it was great to see Ruca (in particular) shake off some of the cobwebs that have tripped her up since debuting on the main roster.

Everyone worked hard and got their rewards with a deserved chant of, "This Is Awesome" from the live crowd. They didn't chant that many times throughout the night!
