5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Money In The Bank 2026 (Results & Review)
Women shine in their ladder match as WWE turns in one of their better wrestling shows.
When done correctly, Money in the Bank is oftentimes one of WWE’s best in-ring offerings on the calendar. The company typically excels at multi-person ladder matches, and that’s half the card right there.
Saturday’s PLE was an easy thumbs-up of a show, though as always with WWE, they still managed to flub a couple of things. Still, there was a lot to like about it.
Both ladder matches delivered solid action and standout spots for several wrestlers, which is a key feature and top goal for these contests. Both briefcase winners make sense from storyline and booking perspectives, though one decision is somewhat questionable given what happened in the Women’s World Championship match.
Roman Reigns and LA Knight worked a really good, swing-for-the-fences World Heavyweight Championship match, though (once again) the booking has to be called into question as WWE can’t figure out whether Roman is their top babyface or heel, which creates problems for others who fall into his orbit.
This column is going to overlook the long gaps between matches – they’re just par for the course at this point, and the action was good enough to overshadow the downtime – and ignore the 946/Bloodline brawl, which was pretty standard stuff and managed to avoid any comical attempted homicide.
All said, not a bad effort at all from WWE here.
Let’s get to it…
