New World Champion Crowned At WWE Live Event (WWE News)
And NEW...
Hot on the heels of Sami Zayn regaining the WWE Championship, Stephanie Vaquer is now once again your WWE Women's World Champion.
Vaquer faced Liv Morgan for the Women's World Title at a Santiago, Chile live event last night, complete with Becky Lynch as the special guest referee.
While WWE will surely show full footage of this title change on Raw tomorrow, clips on social media show how La Primera's big win went down. After Liv pushed Becky a couple of times and slapped her, that led to Vaquer hitting a superkick and going for the SVB. However, Morgan would get out of that SVB and hit her Oblivion finish for the 1... 2... nope.
Rather than counting the three, Becky Lynch instead stopped her count and gave Liv Morgan double middle fingers. And as Liv chatted back to Lynch, that allowed Stephanie to finally nail the SVB before heading up top and hitting her ever-impressive Baker Inferno to pick up the win. The Santiago crowd went absolutely crazy for that false finish and double bird spot, and the reaction to Vaquer's win - Stephanie being from San Fernando, Chile, roughly 90 minutes from Santiago - was even more insane.

With that, that brings Liv Morgan's reign as Women's World Champion to an end at 147 days, though she had only had one previous title defence - beating IYO SKY at SummerSlam - prior to last night's match. And for Stephanie Vaquer, this sees her reclaim the title she lost to Liv at WrestleMania 42.
