1. Stick A Fork In The Vision (Again)

WWE

When you talk about a snakebitten WWE act, you have to point the finger squarely at The Vision.

The group has endured injuries to its leader (Seth Rollins), its breakout star (Bron Breakker), and its enforcer (Bronson Reed). And on Monday, one of the group’s replacement players also got bit by the injury bug.

The announcers revealed that Logan Paul tore his triceps at Saturday Night’s Main Event, landing him on the shelf for the next few months. This means that the stable is now down to Austin Theory and Breakker, who also became a de facto tag team champion after Logan’s injury.

For weeks, Theory and Paul somewhat operated as their own unit within The Vision, a B-level act compared to Breakker’s “future WrestleMania main-eventer” shtick. Now, Bron and Theory have to carry the load (unless Reed is due back soon) for a group that has been limping along like a M.A.S.H. unit for months.

They tried to change this perception Monday night with Theory going on a quest to take out anyone related to Logan’s injury. Austin blasted Joe Hendry with a steel chair, including a shot to the head (and ring post) to lay him out. Later, he did the same to Angelo Dawkins, hitting (well, attempting to hit) a con-chairto on the Street Profit.

Who knows? Maybe this time, Theory will connect as a serious heel. More likely, the tag titles will saddle Breakker, or worse, the titles will be ignored in favor of whatever storyline involves Bron, such as the pending rematch against Seth Rollins.

Regardless, this is not an act on the ascendancy. It needs to be read its last rites.
