4. Vaquer Takes Fight To Liv

Every once in a while, a virtuous babyface needs to get down in the muck with their heel opponent and fight on their level.

Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer did just that Monday night when she blindsided Liv Morgan as she and Dominik Mysterio made their way down to the ring for Dirty Dom’s Intercontinental Championship match.

Vaquer leveled Morgan and even dropped Mysterio before officials broke it up, which gave Liv an opportunity to recover and attack Stephanie. The two brawled back into Gorilla, where they tore into each other until they finally were separated for good.

The entire brawl had to last less than 90 seconds, but it was an economically effective use of screen time to keep the feud hot without having to script some cheesy insults. The fight also presented Vaquer as capable of mixing it up with a heel who already has stooped low in this rivalry. The champ has gotten laid out a couple of times, so getting a few licks in here seemed like a fair payback.
