8 Wrestlers WWE Will Sign In 2027
Shock returns, big debuts and former WWE Champions making the jump back from AEW in 2027!
It's approaching the new year, and that means it's time to get our prediction on. WWE's roster is always the subject of constant scrutiny. 2026 saw the world's biggest wrestling promotion disappoint on many levels. WrestleMania felt like a flop (as shown by its ticket sales), advertising was splattered across their shows in ways that were more invasive than ever before, and fan discourse raged for most of the year.
There are all manner of internal improvements that WWE can impose to course-correct their product, but new blood is always a way to get people excited. There are already whispers about whose contract is up in 2027, and there are plenty of names that Triple H and his creative team would consider adding to their roster.
So let the speculation begin! Will WWE sign tag teams to ignite the often-ignored division? Will they give a second chance to wrestlers who left them in disgrace? Is a rebranded Sin Cara really the answer to their prayers? All these theories and more are up for consideration as we predict 8 wrestlers WWE will sign in 2027.
8. Killer Kross
However much stock you put in the PWI 500 is entirely your prerogative, but Killer Kross found himself at number 30 on this year's list. Here are just a few of the massive names on WWE's current roster who placed below the man formerly known as Karrion Kross: Je'Von Evans, Jacob Fatu, Bron Breakker, Chad Gable, and LA Knight.
Every once in a while, WWE lets someone go, and there's a lot of angry noise from fans about it. In Karrion Kross's case, he had spent his last year in the company creating a character that meant something when he appeared on screen. Something of a harbinger of misfortune, Kross emerging in someone's orbit was a sign that they were about to find themselves in some kind of trouble.
Sure, he'd spent a few years prior to this run being unable to get traction with fans, but his unscripted promo over WrestleMania 40 weekend added to the buzz he'd created for his character. WWE decided not to capitalize on that excitement, but after being consistently one of the biggest draws on the indies in 2026, they'd be mad not to consider bringing Kross back to see what he could conjure.
