Charlotte Flair On The Possibility Of Ever Leaving WWE
Charlotte Flair on her WWE future, was has been the subject of much speculation lately.
Charlotte Flair's pro wrestling future was the subject of much speculation in the wake of a backstage incident at the 22 October WWE SmackDown show, where she was confronted by Becky Lynch after going off-script in their belt exchange segment.
Reports of "nuclear heat" followed, with Flair seemingly becoming isolated in the women's locker room. Later, it was claimed that WWE effectively had its hands tied with the situation, leaving them seemingly unable to issue any form of punishment.
Flair has now issued a short comment on the possibility of ever leaving WWE. Speaking on The Masked Man Show, she said the following:-
“I didn’t work this hard to just say, ‘goodbye’."
The real-life heat between Flair and Lynch eventually became part of their Survivor Series 2021 storyline. Appearing on The MMA Hour ahead of last week's pay-per-view, Lynch acknowledged that things had soured between the two, claiming that she wasn't sure if Charlotte was going to play ball on 21 November.
Flair remains SmackDown Women's Champion following the belt exchange with Lynch. She was defeated at Survivor Series but only via screwy finish, with Becky grabbing the ropes during her match-winning roll-up.
