As Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux continue to cause waves in the wrestling world, the now-former WWE stars appeared at GCW Homecoming Night 1 last night.

Of course, Kross and Scarlett's prior WWE deals were up at midnight on 10 August, making them free agents who could feasibly turn up anywhere they wanted. While fans and news outlets continue to speculate whether those exits were indeed legitimate or instead part of an elaborate storyline, the husband-and-wife duo made a shock appearance for GCW last night.

That appearance came during the Shotzi Blackheart vs. Matt Cardona match for the Garage Beer Championship, which also featured interference from Mance Warner, Jimmy Lloyd, Tommy Invincible, and a returning Nick Gage, who was making his first GCW appearance in over a year. As the dust settled, druids made their way into the ring, only to be taken out one by one by Shotzi.

With two more druids stepping into the ring, one of the two hit Matt Cardona with a low blow before the pair unmasked to reveal Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux. From that, the two-time NXT Champion picked Cardona up and drove him through a door propped up in the corner of the ring, with Blackheart then hitting a top rope senton for the 1-2-3.

That in-ring appearance from Kross and Scarlett was only half of the fun, as they later cut quite the backstage promo with Shotzi Blackheart.

There, Kross was seen playing a violin and singing about how he lost his dream job, how he's so sad, and that this isn't WWE anymore. That faux sadness didn't last long, mind, for that violin was soon thrown against a wall, with Killer saying this is "clearly not a f**king work", that he's not sad anymore, that he's going to do what he's good at, which is "f**king people up".

As Kross continued, he noted how nobody pays to see sad people; they pay to see "maniacs". And while Shotzi Blackheart might be coming to take Matt Cardona's crown, Kross thinks there's something "psychologically wrong" with himself, as he's going to drink Cardona's blood. That led to Shotzi dropping quite the line, saying how Cardona's "getting f**ked in the a**, raw-dog style", and Scarlett wrapped things up by calling Blackheart the "true f**king Indie God".

Killer Kross is no stranger to GCW, having, amongst other things, competed in several Bloodsport matches under the GCW banner, dating as far back as 2019, and most recently during WrestleMania 41 Weekend, where he picked up a win over the NWA's JR Kratos.

Questions will continue to linger over whether Kross and Scarlett's WWE departures are real or a work, but regardless, it's certainly shaping up to be quite the entertaining ride for the two as they continue to dominate the pro wrestling news cycle.
