WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has revealed that sources behind the scenes at WWE tell them Vince McMahon probably won't be in attendance for the Hall Of Fame 2026 ceremony before WrestleMania 42. However, as those sources also noted, plans could change between now and the actual show itself.

McMahon is still facing ongoing legal issues stemming from the Janel Grant case, but some had wondered if he'd show face to watch his daughter Stephanie be inducted into the HOF. That isn't the plan, at least for now. Rather definitively, the WrestleVotes/Fightful story said that "no additional measures are in place to facilitate an appearance".

Surely, if Vince was going to be there, then WWE would be putting ducks in a row to ensure that things run as smoothly as possible. Nothing has been lined up at time of writing, so it doesn't look like he'll be there for the Hall Of Fame bash at all.

It's a crazy/wild suggestion, but some wrestling fans do reckon there's a slight chance McMahon could return to screens as part of an elaborate angle with either Randy Orton or Roman Reigns at 'Mania itself. Again, that's fanciful, but other notable figures like AEW's Jim Ross have opined that Vince is still involved in WWE creative somehow.

A McMahon return would be hugely controversial given everything that's been written about his legal plight, but people have learned to never say never when it comes to WWE/TKO.
