Iconic announcer Jim Ross has told fans via his 'Grilling JR' podcast "that Vince [McMahon] will be instrumental in this year’s WrestleMania as far as creative is concerned". In other words, the AEW man believes McMahon is involved in WWE creative right now - "No doubt about it. I don’t even have a question in my mind".

Of course, McMahon is still embroiled in an ongoing lawsuit filed by ex-WWE employee Janel Grant that's been making headlines for years. JR didn't go into detail on that side of things, but he does reckon TKO would entertain bringing Vince back into the mix full time if he was available and pushback from fans/critics was minimal.

"They would not be good businessmen if they weren’t willing to entertain that idea, because they realise that McMahon is the guy that built the whole damn thing".

Ross isn't sure that Vince will ever ascend to running the company with an iron fist again, but he does think it's inevitable that he's back in the fold "in some shape, form or fashion". In fact, Jim has a sneaking suspicion that his old boss is involved somehow heading into this year's 'Mania.

On that, JR added: "You know, it’s the old cliche: Where there’s smoke, oftentimes there’s fire; and there’s been a lot of smoke regarding VKM in WWE, and what his future may or may not be and how he can still contribute".

It's worth noting that there's no concrete proof that WWE/TKO is leaning on McMahon for ideas or if he's even in dialogue with the promotion at all.
