26. Yokozuna vs Bret Hart (WrestleMania 10)

In a repeat of the "actual" main event of the previous year's WrestleMania, Bret Hart was offered a shot at redemption after being made to look like a fool in the ridiculous ending of WrestleMania 9, in which he played cheerleader for Hulk Hogan's "shock" WWE title win over Yokozuna in Las Vegas.

Both Hart and Lex Luger were declared as dual winners of the Royal Rumble in 1994, and a coin toss determined that Luger would face Yokozuna in the middle of the WrestleMania 10 card for his shot at the gold, with Hart facing the winner in the night's main event. It was a banner evening for Bret, who also opened the card in a match that what is widely considered the best opening WrestleMania bout of all time with his brother, Owen.

Luger blew his title shot earlier in the evening by pushing referee Mr. Perfect and getting himself disqualified, meaning Yokozuna would have to defend the WWE Championship for the second time in one night against 'The Hitman' in the main event. The end of the match was slightly ridiculous, with Yokozuna being pinned after losing his balance going for the Banzai Drop, but justice was served for Bret Hart after he had been royally screwed 12 months prior.
