After Austin wrote himself onto the hearts of fans everywhere 12 months earlier by refusing to Bret Hart's Sharpshooter, Austin's feud with WWE Champion Shawn Michaels, D-Generation X, and 'Iron' Mike Tyson was the stuff of legend. Jim Ross's classic "Tyson and Austin! Tyson and Austin!" captured the excitement of the moment that they threw hands. It transcended WWE itself, breaking through into pop culture and sports headlines, and made the main event of WrestleMania feel colossal.

With Triple H and Chyna being ejected from ringside early in the match-up, Austin and Michaels fought passionately all the way up and down the aisle.
