The Young Bucks Embarrassed AGAIN Before Forbidden Door (AEW News)
The downward spiral of the Young Bucks continues ahead of Forbidden Door.
As the downward spiral of the Young Bucks continues, the now former AEW EVPs were once again left embarrassed ahead of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door later today.
According to Matt and Nick Jackson, they were pulled from their dinner to attend a last-minute meet and greet fan event in London to promote Forbidden Door yesterday. As you can see by social media footage, that meet and greet saw the Bucks have a wonky, duct-taped, extremely basic banner, and where the image of a wrestler(s) would be for such an event, there was instead simply the URL of an image.

The Young Bucks were forced to give up their EVP roles after losing to Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland at All In Texas last month, and the subsequent weeks of AEW television have shown the Jacksons being humbled in a variety of ways.
For the former AEW Tag Team Champions, we've seen them receive the classic 'already in the ring' entrance, they've had entrances where the music and graphics have been fumbled, the pair have been referred to as Max and Jeremy in a nod to their old Generation Me days in TNA, and they've struggled when hitting the EVP Trigger. After all, if you're no longer an EVP, what do you even call the EVP Trigger?
Behind the scenes, the Young Bucks are having a blast, recently telling Sports Illustrated how much fun they're having by making themselves the butt of the joke and reinventing their on-screen characters.
To circle back to Forbidden Door, though, today sees Matt and Nick teaming with Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Gabe Kidd to take on Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, Darby Allin, and Hiroshi Tanahashi in a mammoth 10-man Lights Out Steel Cage offering at London's O2 Arena.
