How To Watch AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 - Start Time, Card, Preview
How to watch AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door from wherever you are in the world.
On the back of an excellent All In last month, AEW teams up with NJPW for the fourth annual Forbidden Door PPV, and for a second consecutive year, we've also got representation from both CMLL and STARDOM on the Forbidden Door line-up.
With AEW returning to London today, this time it's the O2 Arena that houses Forbidden Door, with Tony Khan's promotion previously running the previous two All In events from London's Wembley Stadium until this year's All In was switched to Texas. And much like the Wembley-held All Ins, Forbidden Door is shaping up to be quite the exciting show.
Headline duties here seem likely to fall on a mammoth 10-man 'Lights Out Steel Cage' offering, but the Forbidden Door card also has seven title matches dotted across it - plus one on the Zero Hour pre-show - including 'Hangman' Adam Page defending the AEW World Championship against the nefarious MJF.
So, with all of that taken into account, here's how to watch AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 later today from wherever you are in the world.

While maybe not having quite the hype as previous AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door events, the 2025 edition of that PPV still has a pretty stacked card to run through, and there's plenty of excitement for Hangman Page vs. MJF in the top title spot.
Having finally brought an end to Jon Moxley's reign of terror with the AEW World Championship at All In last month, Hangman now finds himself defending that gold against the ever-underhanded, ever-opportunistic Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Page may have been busy defeating Mox at All In, but MJF managed to win the men's Casino Gauntlet at All In to earn himself a guaranteed World Title shot; a World Title shot that Hanger goaded the Salt of the Earth into cashing in here at Forbidden Door. However, in a twist on that, the most recent edition of Dynamite saw MJF douse Mark Briscoe in gasoline and threaten to set him on fire should Page not agree that their Forbidden Door match could see the AEW World Championship change hands on a disqualification or by countout, and also that this match would not see Max use up that Casino Gauntlet 'chip'.
Speaking of Casino Gauntlets, it was ROH Women's Champion Athena who emerged victorious in the women's Casino Gauntlet at All In, and she likewise is cashing in her title opportunity at Forbidden Door. Rather than being goaded into making that decision, though, the Forever Champion made it immediately clear that she was gunning for Toni Storm and the AEW Women's Title as soon as possible. After plentiful fan complaints of a distinct lack of Athena on AEW television - instead restricted solely to ROH programming - it's been great to see the War Goddess cracking skulls in AEW on a more regular basis.
Sticking with major title matches, and New Japan's top prize is on the line when IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr. defends against fellow Brit, Nigel McGuinness. After winning a four-way match featuring Daniel Garcia, Lee Moriarty, and Hechicero on last week's Collision, McGuinness is looking to claim a first slice of championship gold since 2009. Whether Nigel wins out or not, this one has the potential to steal the entire show for fans who like their pro wrestling to be more on the technical side.
In other title matches, AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné finds herself in a four-way bout against Alex Windsor, CMLL's Persephone, and STARDOM's Bozilla; the AEW Undisputed Title is up for grabs as Kazuchika Okada faces Swerve Strickland in what could be another show-stealer; new AEW TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher has his second defence of that belt as he faces five-time former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi; and the Hurt Syndicate's Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin put up the AEW Tag Team Titles against both FTR and the team of Brody King & Bandido.
Away from those championship contests, one of the other main attractions of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door is the all-star ten-man Lights Out Steel Cage war that pits Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, Will Ospreay, Darby Allin, and the legendary Hiroshi Tanahashi against Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, the Young Bucks, and current IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship Gabe Kidd. Not only does this one offer up the prospect of sheer insanity and plenty of brutality, but it will also be Tanahashi's final match on UK soil, with the Ace of New Japan retiring from the ring at Wrestle Kingdom 20 on 4 January.
Another big attraction for Forbidden Door, and one that some fans believe has been rushed just a tad, is the long-awaited reunion between Cope and Christian Cage. With these one-time 'brothers', various-time best friends, and multiple-time mortal enemies now on the same page and teaming together for the first time since 2011, they face off with Kip Sabian and the returning Killswitch (a late replacement for Nick Wayne). With Cage recently turned on by his 'sons' as the Patriarchy came to an end, here's hoping for some of that classic E&C magic that made Cope and Christian one of the very best tag teams of the modern era.
Whereas the main AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door card has nine matches announced, we also now know of four matches set for the Zero Hour pre-show. Of course, it could always be that more contests are added to the Zero Hour, or even to the main PPV line-up, but the pre-show will currently see the Opps defending the AEW Trios Titles against Bullet Club War Dogs; the Triangle of Madness team with Megan Bayne to take on the babyface foursome of Willow Nightingale, Kris Statlander, Queen Aminata, and Harley Cameron; Paragon's Roddy Strong and Kyle O'Reilly line up with New Japan's El Desperado and Yuya Uemara to face CRU and Josh Alexander and Hechicero; and we've a trios match pitting JetSpeed and RevPro standout Michael Oku against Ricochet and the Gates of Agony - meaning, in total, AEW x Forbidden Door has a whopping 14 matches for wrestling fans to devour.
