WWE Clash In Italy 2026: 8 Things That NEED To Happen
4. Roman Reigns Wins ‘Tribal Combat’
Jacob Fatu doesn't necessarily need to come out of this feud with Roman Reigns with a win. Yes, it'd be lovely if he could beat the 'Tribal Chief', but WWE probably don't want to take the World Heavyweight Title from Roman quite yet. They've been rejigging some of his schedule for June too, so it looks like Reigns is happy to do whatever work needs doing.
That's a real boost to the writing team on Raw, and it'll likely reshape what happens in this 'Tribal Combat' situation. Arguably the most important thing is that Fatu comes out of his next battle with the 'OTC' looking like an equal. Losing isn't a problem. It's how a wrestler loses and what kind of story frames it that's more important.
People have been reacting to Jacob like he's a main-event level star anyway, so WWE can surely go with another Reigns win at Clash In Italy. If The Usos get involved (and maybe LA Knight too after he had some choice words for Roman on Raw), then Fatu will have an out when he's asked what went wrong here.
It'd be a mistake to put Jacob in line alongside Jimmy and Jey as foot soldiers for Reigns though, so they'll need to sidestep that stipulation after the fact. That's easy done, being fair. Simply have Fatu refuse and go off to do his own thing. He isn't contractually obligated to do Roman's bidding on Mondays, basically.
Prolonging this latest title reign for the 'Chief' sounds like the best way to go, but Jacob can still look great coming out of Clash.
