Reports circulated recently that WWE would be pulling new World Heavyweight Champion and top star Roman Reigns from episodes of Raw this coming June. That raised a few eyebrows and turned a fair number of heads, because Reigns has been a focal point on the flagship post-WrestleMania 42 as he builds towards a Backlash bout vs. Jacob Fatu.

So, why will he go missing next month? Simple: It was a clerical error on WWE's side that he was even advertised for select shows in the first place. PWInsider reports that Roman was never supposed to be hyped to fans for those dates - WWE/TKO staff simply mucked it up.

It was ye olde 'left hand not talking to the right'. WCW style.

Basically, as revealed by PWInsider's Mike Johnson, the 'OTC' is completely blameless. He'd done his bit by letting the company know his availability, but somebody either wasn't paying full attention or just dropped a clanger in admin. That led to Reigns being advertised for events he was never supposed to be on originally.

It's a bit of a bummer for fans who want to see him in action throughout June, and it does raise a question about how much work Roman will be doing after Backlash, but PWInsider reveals that there's no issue between the 'Tribal Chief' and company management.

That was speculated on social media too; some fans wondered if Reigns had fallen out with top brass over something. Nope, it was a routine error that wasn't spotted until it was too late.
