Secret Invasion was the biggest comics event following the double-whammy that was Civil War and Planet Hulk, and with those two titanic stories to live up to Marvel's Skrull-themed comic was always bound to do something shocking. The death of Avengers founder Wasp, however, shocked even the most jaded of readers, and remains one of many gut-wrenching moments from this controversial story arc.
