After the Silver Surfer got himself trapped on Earth for defying his master, he falls victim to Doctor Doom's trickery while believing the hooded leader of Latveria to be his friend.

Unfortunately, it was all a ruse to steal a portion of the Surfer's powers, the aftermath of which was captured on this page showing a newly empowered Doom standing over the exhausted and limp body of the Silver Surfer.
