The long-rumoured next game in that fantastic Batman: Arkham series is finally on its way according to the ever-churning video-game rumour-mill. From the little bits that have been leaked and the few things that Warner Bros. Montreal have teased, we'll be getting a story that focuses on Bruce's battle to save Gotham from the Court of Owls, co-op gameplay, and playable Bat-family members.
Details beyond this are thin on the ground right now, but we do know the game is going to be keeping as close to the spirit of the originals as possible. So, while we wait on details let's take a look at some of the things we know for sure will be coming: alternate costumes and characters.
Whether part of the storyline, unlockable upon completing certain tasks, or just downloadable easter eggs, the Arkham games have been filled with some fantastic bonus costumes.
The Batman of Zur-En-Arrh, The Dark Knight Returns, Batman Beyond, Batman '89 and even Adam West Batman have all been playable in past games, and I'm hoping some of these twenty join them as classic costumes in this soft reboot.
