Earth One featured a new look at Batman and other DC heroes by placing their stories outside of the standard DC Universe continuity.
The result was a new retelling of an old story and a slightly redesigned batsuit featuring an entirely grey and black costume, a yellow circle behind the Bat-symbol, and a cape that stretched lower on the neck than in other incarnations.
