The world's original superhero team was founded by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to fight ub World War II following the Pearl Harbor attack. Later comic books say that once FDR passed away, succeeding President Harry Truman didn't trust the heroes the same. He choose to use the Atomic Bomb to end the war rather than deploying Roosevelt's favourite super-team.
