Eastwood both stars and directs in the 2008 film Gran Torino, the story of a retired Korean War veteran who is battling the changes in his Michigan community. Hereafter is the 2010 examination of the afterlife, starring Matt Damon as a blue-collar American touched by death. Damon again stars in Invictus, alongside Morgan Freeman, as the captain of the South African rugby team during the 1995 Rugby World Cup and depicting the story of Nelson Mandela€™s rise to power. Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima are the epic 2006 World War II films which depict the battle for the Japanese island Iwo Jima told from both the American and Japanese point of view. J.Edgar, out now on Blu-ray Triple Play, DVD and Digital Download, explores the life ofFBI Director J.Edgar Hoover starring Leonardo DiCaprio in the title role.
