9. Captain Marvel Will Join The Justice League
The original Captain Marvel will make his DC Extended Universe debut in 2019's Shazam, a movie that has been described as the superhero equivalent of Big. With Zachary Levi in the lead role, expect this film to add some much-needed lightheartedness and comedy to the franchise.
Justice League ended with Batman and co establishing the Hall of Justice and Wonder Woman quipping that there's room for more members to join its ranks, and Billy Batson and his grown-up alter ego are prime candidates for inclusion.
The DCEU takes many of its design and story cues from the New 52 era of DC Comics, and during this age, Captain Marvel was a member of the Justice League. A Batfleck cameo in Shazam's post-credits could set this up.
Once Batson has signed up for the League, expect Cyborg to take him under his metaphorical wing. The pair buddied up in the comics and had a mentor-student relationship of sorts, and this could be built on in Cyborg's 2020 solo movie.
