10 Easy Steps To Save Will Smith's Career

Will Smith hasn't been in a funny film since 2012's Men In Black III, and the jury's still out on that one. Before that, you have to go all the way back to 2005's Hitch to find a basic Will Smith comedy. He obviously wanted to be a serious actor, but the material so often didn't match his talent.

There were glimpses of Smith's undeniable comedic skill in Suicide Squad, and now's the time to double down on that: the world needs to see Big Will cracking jokes, being charming and getting into wacky situations again. Maybe the 21 Jump Street rebooters Phil Lord and Chris Miller could throw a script his way?

This isn't to say that Smith can't do serious stuff (more on that later), but a few rip-roaring LOL-fests would go a long way to resuscitating his career at this point.
