2. Pus - Planet Terror
Ok, I know there are lots of pus-laden films out there, and I know lots of them have thoroughly vomitous scenes with creative uses for pus. But my favorite use of pus comes from Quentin Tarantino's classic grind house film Planet Terror. Naturally there are plenty of disgusting scenes in Planet Terror. For example, early in the film there's a moment where Josh Brolin, as doctor William Block, is examining a rather large pustule on the tongue of a patient. Unfortunately for Brolin, the over-filled pimple explodes, sending bloody pus all over Brolin's face. This scene is exactly why I would never be a doctor. Of course, there's also the thoroughly unhealthy moment when a zombie, fresh from turning into a pulsing pus bag, squishes one of his own pus bags and spreads it all over Brolin's face. I think I'd have to puke all over the zombie, but that's just me.
