4. Kraven the Hunter

One of Spider-Man's best-known and formerly silliest foes, Kraven wasn't taken all that seriously until he was forced to face his own mortality and prove that he could truly best Peter Parker in the seminal story Kraven's Last Hunt. The Russian animal hunter eschewed conventional and unconventional weapons in favour of using his bare hands to subdue and kill his prey, and is probably most famous for wearing the skins of his kills like he's about to strut down a Siberian catwalk. Although Kraven was an original member of the Sinister Six supervillain supergroup formed by Doctor Octopus, it's unclear whether or not he'll be appearing in Drew Goddard's upcoming spin-off from the Amazing Spider-Man movies. It would be far more interesting to see Kraven in the MCU proper, where he has plenty more animal-themed prey to stalk, from Tigra to Black Panther and beyond...
